Collecting Personal Information
The ICTA gathers information about individuals, including name, email addresses, level of play (Majors, A,B,C, +55, Ladies), tennis scores and statistics. This information is provided to us by you, your home club and captains of the various ICTA teams.
Use of Personal Information
The ICTA retains your information for purposes of tracking scores and statistics of league results as well as complying with any ICTA rules. Any information you provide to the ICTA is publicly available and may be posted on specific league results websites.
We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to our Web site, new ICTA rules and/or policies, and special offers we think you’ll find valuable, including products and services of third parties. If you would rather not receive this information, just notify us by e-mail.
Data submitted to the ICTA will be deleted within 24 months, unless retained for further communication (see Use of Personal Information above).
Users may change or modify information previously provided to the ICTA through e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Third Party Links
The ICTA links to other outside Web sites and the ICTA is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites. Users should check their privacy policies (if available) before submitting any personal information since the privacy practices of these other sites may be different from that of the ICTA. Users should be aware that any personal information collected is collected by that third party Web site and is governed by that site's policy.
The ICTA recognizes concerns our customers have in reference to the use of "cookies". Some of the ICTA’s Web pages may use "cookies," which are small files that may be placed on your hard disk for record-keeping purposes. Cookies in no way give the ICTA access to your computer or any personal information about you. Rather, cookies can make your subsequent visits to the Web site simpler and more seamless.
